1. General Principles
We aim to provide fair, transparent, and customer-friendly refund practices.
Refund requests are reviewed reasonably and in good faith.
Nothing in this policy affects rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

2. Discovery & Diagnosis Session
The Discovery & Diagnosis Session is designed to understand your goals and provide general learning recommendations.
Before the scheduled session
You may request a full refund at any time before the session begins.
After the session has been completed
Once the session has been completed, the service is considered delivered and is generally non-refundable.

3. Lesson Programs
This section applies to:
• 24-Lesson Program;
• 48-Lesson Program.
Before the first lesson
You may request a full refund before your first lesson begins.
After lessons have started
Refunds are calculated based on the number of lessons already completed.
The value of completed lessons is calculated using the standard single-lesson rate applicable at the time of purchase.
The refund amount is:
Amount Paid − Value of Completed Lessons
No refunds are available after all lessons have been completed.
Lesson packages are personal and non-transferable.

4. Daily Practice Membership
Daily Practice Membership is billed monthly and renews automatically unless cancelled.
First-time subscribers
For your first subscription only, you may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days after the initial purchase.
This one-time guarantee may only be used once per customer.
After seven (7) days
Partial refunds may be available for the unused portion of the current billing period.
Refunds are calculated on a prorated basis:
Monthly Fee × Remaining Days ÷ Total Days in the Billing Cycle
Cancellation will stop future renewals.
Access to the service will continue until the end of the paid period unless a refund is issued.

5. Subscription Renewals
Subscription fees are charged in advance.
Renewal charges are generally non-refundable once a new billing cycle has begun.
However, SinoMentor may review requests individually and provide full or partial refunds where reasonably appropriate.

6. Missed Lessons and Rescheduling
Lessons cancelled with at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice may be rescheduled.
Lessons missed without sufficient notice may be treated as completed sessions.
Refunds are generally not available for missed lessons.
Technical issues affecting either party will be reviewed reasonably on a case-by-case basis.

7. Special Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations may arise.
Refund requests involving:
• serious illness;
• family emergencies;
• duplicate payments;
• billing errors;
• technical failures;
may be reviewed individually.
SinoMentor reserves the right to provide full or partial refunds where appropriate.

Refund policies are intended to protect both clients and SinoMentor.
Requests that involve excessive use of services, repeated refund requests, or conduct that appears abusive or unreasonable may be declined.
